Generalicar Tests The New Smappi Car Project Developed by Kirey Group
Generalicar's operating team has just completed a series of tests on one of the most innovative Kirey Group's projects, Smappi Car. The partnership between Generalicar's Pero Center and our Kirey Group experts has proven to be beneficial and stimulating for both companies.
Smappi Car is an application similar to a black box yet "mobile", that uses the smartphone's device detection tools such as the accelerometer, gyroscope and biometric data, to detect speed, direction of travel, acceleration/deceleration and vehicle position. Consequently, the app can evaluatethe driving behavior of the driver. The application also allows you to evaluate the driver's level of attention and can record the dynamics of an accident by using the smartphone's videocamera.
Compared to the classic black box, the application does not come with additional charges or installation requirements, allowing you to even recognize the driver's identity.
Pero Center, known for its rigorous testing on the classic black box device and its mode of operation, has tested Smappi Car in all of its features. Data collection and tests carried out during an entire week are currently under scrutiny by the Generalicar technicians and our team of experts.
