But are we really sure that a corner of paradise really exists and above all ... where is it?
In this case, technology comes in handy, and in particular, analytics and machine learning tools.
It's called Paradise Found and it's a platform created by SAS that, using intelligent algorithms through machine learning techniques, analyzes millions of data coming from various open source and open data sources of 150,000 cities in the world, and by combining these data, is able to determine, according to 8 key criteria (Education and Career, Family, Culture, Nature, Safety and Infrastructure, Cost of living, Restaurants and shopping, Health) what is objectively the best place to live depending on the needs of a person.
Weather conditions, labor market, health care, price indices, environmental pollution, public transport, length of footpaths, green areas, traffic ... these and many other parameters are taken into consideration by the data scientists involved in the project, whose primary objective was to demonstrate how machine learning techniques can support decision making.
